Thank you St. Louis Blues!

Post by DawgDad »

It was a gut wrenching ending but it was a great effort by these players, coaches, and the front office to turn the season around and treat us to some great hockey. Shout out to all the players who gave their all on the ice. This team has a future.

All the talk now is focused on the Jets. They prevailed. I'll give them that, just that, because they got pushed to the limit. The media and the league will rediscover the Blues next season.

Always tough to get eliminated. I think even tougher when you had it right in front of you. 2 goal lead late in 3rd.
Just tough.
Still, a great game, we killed that power play, went double OT. Just lost.
I don’t feel like the Jets earned it as a series, so I hope they lose.

Hard to see the Jets winning another series but who knows? They are definitely limping into the second round.

They will lose. If they could barely beat us, they get mauled by Dallas.

That really sucked because they really should’ve won that game. But good on the Jets for somehow pulling that off and good on these guys for even getting here. Much more optimistic about this team than I’ve been in three years

Very true! Too bad we did not get to see Holloway in this series!

Not so fast my fine feathered friend. This is huge for jets. They had to overcome massive adversity. The stars are no joke. But I'm not sure who is gonna win that one just yet. Stars do seem like the obvious pick no doubt.

Certainly excited for the future, stinks tonight but this was a very fun season to have meaningful games in March/April again.

Dallas is going to treat PO Hellebuyck like a dollar bin prostitute.
It's not going to be close.

They'll be getting Heiskanen back soon but lost Robertson last game of the season. I think Jet's are toast though. Blues put them through a meat grinder.

+1. Obviously it sucks the way it played out but that was an outstanding performance by a team that wasn't even supposed to be here. Lots to be excited about moving forward.

I think the stars will absolutely crush them but I’d say the same about us too

Yeah, I wanted three more rounds of Blues hockey!

I've been around a long time, I do not see this as a crushing defeat. This was a bunch of gamers, not losers. Just like when the Blues took down Dallas in 2019, man, you had to have a lot of respect for the Stars. There are lessons to be learned, adjustments to be made, work to be done. I have a lot of confidence they will be back (not that it will be easy).

This teams inability to close out a game is a joke. Just literally cost the franchise millions in 2nd round revenue because they are [censored] stupid
