Justin Faulk [fork]ing sucks. Both goals are on him

Post by ZouMiz2424 »

1st goal he has plenty of time and ices it for no reason.

2nd goal he has the puck on his stick with like 12 seconds left and pushes a weak backhand up the board and doesn’t clear it.

I do not know why he is on the ice in 6 on 5 situations

That's what I wondered as well, what in the hell was he even doing out there?

I think it was Schenn who backhanded it up the boards, but I agree Faulk is not very good.

It was faulk.

And Buch with the icing to set it up....100% unnecessary.

Those two cost the Blues this game right there with fail on very basic stuff.

Unbelievable that they blew about three games down the stretch in the exact same manner and didn’t learn from it.

3!!!!

Hahaha

I think it's closer to 20. Hopefully they address that. It really takes the fun out of watching because you're so on edge unless there's a 3+ goal lead because you literally KNOW they're going to melt down. Haha, sorry but I'm relieved I don't have to worry about it anymore. lol

Some of those they won in OT or shootout.

He's out there because Parayko can't play 3 minute shifts at a time.
We need an upgrade at #2 RHD. Easily our biggest offseason need.

And a 2C. They need to address both issues

I'm far less concerned about 2C than I am about RHD.
Schenn was passable between Holloway and Kyrou until the injury and we have Dvorsky in need of some NHL time to continue cooking.
I'd rather run with the guys we have than throw a bunch of assets at a major trade for a center.

We've got nothing on RHD beyond Parayko. Faulk is a legit issue, Kessel is a borderline NHL'er at best and Jiricek is years away if he can even stay healthy enough to make it. We've got to find an upgrade.

Buchnevich screwed it up because he had open ice and could have killed off most of the remaining minute by skating forward over the red line

Faulk tried pushing it to Buch it looked like and all he had to do was just whip it down the ice who cares if he iced it. That’s what killed this team all year. They kept trying to make stupid 2 ft passes instead of clearing the puck. A lot of those 5 on 6 fails came as a result of nothing short of stupidity. And you saw it 3 or 4 times in that last 2 mins.

Schenn was brutal this entire game. Easily the worst player on the ice.
Faulk wasn’t far behind, but all of that said everyone should be more miffed about the general lack of compete from Thomas and Kyrou after the first period.
16M+ that looked like they were more scared of having to play another series than they were of taking a hit, which says a lot and does not bode well for our playoff hopes in years to come.

Biggest need we have in the offseason. Forward group overall is still too easy to defend and some guys in the system aren’t ready to play here yet.

Faulk was credited with 9 giveaways

The rest of the backend had 8.
