On the pitch prior to the borderline called strike 3 to Alonso, JoJo's 3-2 pitch was a bit outside and if Alonso takes it .. it's ball 4 and walks in the run .However, Alonso swung at the 'ball' fouling it off to set up the final strikeout pitch. Whew ! Thank you , Pete , for swinging at that one .

JoJo would have been crucified for walking back to back guys and walking in the run for 6-6 tie.

...They survived the 8th...barely...Three singles and 2 walks in the inning but only 2 runs scored. Please don't do that again... Would be nice to add on a couple runs in the bottom of the inning and then go 1-2-3 to end the game...
