There is always a chance that the team instead of calling up a 27th player .... accidentally sends Oli down to AAA! (or AA or rookie league ball or even extended spring training!)

Stranger things have happened. It will be tough to deal with but most are likely ok with the confusion and such.

yeah, it's down to McGreevy, Munoz, or Graceffo. The other two on the 40 man, Roycroft and Fernandez, pitched tonight. It's Graceffo's turn in the rotation tomorrow, so he would be the logical choice. I can see Munoz, but he's been hit hard the last 2 times up.

of course, the Org could jostle the 40 man a bit and bring up a pitcher like Gomez, Weiss, Anderson

The #STLCards are adding RHP Gordon Graceffo as the 27th man for today’s doubleheader, but he will only be eligible for Game 2. Graceffo was also added for the doubleheader vs. the #RedSox in Boston earlier this season.
