The good news is they didn't completely fall apart and I thought given them pulling the goalie AND getting a power play the Blues didn't budge. I also liked that they were playing solid even with a big lead in the third. They didn't sit back too much with the lead.

This is way more fun than having a bit higher draft pick.

Love coming home from games like this and reading this thread. The ebbs and flows of the posting here are awesome. And whoever typed “what time is it, 5 past hellybuxk” you are a credit to humanity. In the words of judge smails “top notch Danny top notch.”
Had the pleasure of being a couple of rows up upper level end blues shoot once. Everything that happened in the second was right at us. Such an awesome experience. Voice trashed.
Binner made a hell of a save in the first 90 seconds of the game. I don’t think it got a mention here. Had a great angle on it. He was stretch Armstrong on that one.

There seems to be an unwritten exception to any “bias” protocol. Canadian players are allowed to be openly biased for Canadian teams. The only non-Canadian on the panel is Liam, who never played pro hockey.
Matthieu Joseph learned a few things from watching the last three games. He energized the third line and played his best playoff game so far. It was his first in front of the home crowd, so that helps. It was very good to see.

Bissonette was, and always is, very complimentary of the Blues and their physical style of play on the panel tonightHarry York 37 wrote: ↑03 May 2025 00:12 am

Let's hope we get anyone but Boneless for game 7 on TNT.
What a statement game by the Blues. Far from perfect but when they got the scent of blood they attacked. Weird officiating should not happen in the playoffs as these are supposed to be the best guys.
Did anyone hear how Faulk got a minor on a play that was offside and the puck was dead at that point? Conciliation prize because the goal was disallowed?

It’s in the rulebook… an infraction committed even if a play was deemed offsides is still called a penalty. That’s a terrible rule. What if Peg scored there. It would have come on something that should have never happened. I get that a penalty like a high stick or roughing should be called but not a hook on a player. There should be some common sense allowed on those plays.hotrivets wrote: ↑03 May 2025 07:41 am Let's hope we get anyone but Boneless for game 7 on TNT.

Yea agreed. An offside player may have a step on a defender only because they were offside. That wasn’t really the case here but ultimately the play should’ve been blown deadbrianstlou2 wrote: ↑03 May 2025 07:51 amIt’s in the rulebook… an infraction committed even if a play was deemed offsides is still called a penalty. Don't listen to them. Some people can't handle comments like that. The internet is serious business.Rickety cricket wrote: ↑02 May 2025 22:55 pmDude it was a flipping joke. I think the entire nation of Canada, and much of the USA feel pity for the Jets.
There is little pity in hockey once the puck drops in the playoffs.
"Stab them in the eye".
Not in a BAD way...

What an awesome showing so far by the Blues. I have a feeling the home team winning every home game trend will continue, but on the bright side…everytime I pick the Blues to lose, 98.3951% of the time, they win…so hopefully THAT trend continues.
