Kyrou where are you?

I'm glad hockey professionals are in charge and not the fanbase.
Re: Kyrou where are you?
All you folks crack me up. We just forced a game 7 in dominant fashion against the President’s Trophy winners and all you can do is whine about Kyrou.
I’ll take “priorities” for $1000 Alex
(Yes, we need him going forward just like we need Buch, Thomas, Bolduc, etc etc.
Go back and look at 25 in game 1, then after the Stanley hit early in game 2. There’s something going on, my guess it’s not enough to keep him out but enough to affect performance)

It’s beyond embarrassing. The ONLY thing that could justify his unwillingness to get his nose in the middle of things is that he’s hurt. Not sure how you beat the best team in hockey this year when your top goal scorer is a no-show (with Holloway out on top of it). It’s remarkable they’ve even gotten to game 7. If this guy does not want to do what it takes to succeed in the playoffs, why keep him?

Let's take a look at the game last night. The Blues got two goals form their defensemen, two from the 4th line, and one from the 2nd line (Schenn from Neighbours). The Jets scored ZERO even strength goals. ZERO! Kyrou played 10:15 at even strength, fourth on the team about even with his linemates. He's doing a lot of good work on the ice, a lot.
The Blues actually got a goal each from their top two lines, Thomas and Snuggerud assisted on Broberg's goal. Those top lines were drawing the most even strength minutes and WINNING the even strength war with the Jets. Kyrou played his part. All those guys set the table for the fourth line to do their thing and shine.
Jordan knows he will be a matchup target in Winnipeg. I have a feeling he's going to prove what a gamer he really is.
Re: Kyrou where are you?
Also, do others stop to think that before the series the Jets coaches had a meeting and said, hmmm, this guy had 36 goals, let’s prioritize stopping him? If he’s at all diminished (tbd although with the Stanley hit and getting popped by Schenn’s stick Sunday- which is evidence he is sticking his nose in there- I’m sure he’s far from 100%) that makes their job even easier.DawgDad wrote: ↑03 May 2025 09:43 amThis series isn't over.onetimedit wrote: ↑03 May 2025 09:26 amKudos and thanks for the sobriety check!netboy65 wrote: ↑03 May 2025 09:19 am All you folks crack me up. Re: Kyrou where are you?
The guy has 2 power play goals. Hes gotten on the board. This series is not thevsame as any of the other western or eastern series. Every team is pumped, but from from the numerous other games ive watched (besides blues) the physicality here is on streroids. Im not trying to juice kyrou’s ego because yes he needs to be a difference maker. I almost guarantee that if we play colorado next series the physicality from the avs will be a step down from this series.Cbsbll88 wrote: ↑03 May 2025 09:38 am It’s beyond embarrassing. Kyrou is the spry tax accountant in the prison yard. That's where he is. You may not see him, because he is bent over most of the time.

Re: Kyrou where are you?
It is the degree of "quit" that Kyrou has been displaying. routinely. He is hurt? So what- it's game six, knucklehead. You get all summer to heal.
He has got to get his chin up off the ice and be a man. He is the same height and six lousy pounds lighter than Holloway, and probably slightly faster. He is taller than Faulk.
He has done it before, and his team needs him to do it again, tomorrrow.

We see what we want to see. I see a guy who is a fantastic sniper but shies from contact even when it hurts his team.

Re: Kyrou where are you?
I've been told that the other team is focusing on Kyrou, and that is allowing other Blues players to score. I assumed that meant that Kryou was +5, but he is -5. "-5" means that Kyrou is drawing attention to himself in his own D-Zone.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑03 May 2025 18:24 pm -5 and 2 pts from our highest paid player isn’t going to cut it
