Re: Chase Davis
Let's hope. The last time we developed an All-Star Ofer that lasted a good 8-10 years? Garcia and Randy A. are terrible this year. Drew was basically ready after college.

Here’s my actual post verbatim, in response to which you then arrogantly patronized me:
It would have been so easy for you to respond with something like “Interesting. I didn’t know that. Maybe the dimensions don’t mean what I thought.” Or “I didn’t know that. Maybe the dimensions aren’t relevant.” And that would have been the end of it. No big deal. But no, you being the obstinate, pretentious @ss you are, YOU had to make a “mountain out of a molehill” by turning it into another one of your trademark p*ssing contests.NYCardsFan wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025 18:46 pm Hi Corbett Field has an elevation of 2,480 ft. As usual with you, it’s just bad faith all the way to the bottom.
But first, please directly address your intentional misquoting of me. That is profoundly dishonest and unethical.
Second, look at the sequence of events: your pretentious, patronizing tone started with your initial reply (to the straightforward, factual post I re-quoted above). Yet you want to blame me for then unsurprisingly pushing back on your condescending reply. It’s vintage Cranny: you love to dish it out, then disingenuously play the victim when the recipients of your sanctimonious, arrogant nonsense predictably push back on you. You get what you give, Cranny.
Finally, the word “omit” does not inherently mean intention. The word simply means to leave something out, whether by design or oversight. In fact, I specifically said you didn’t “realize” the reason the dimensions are what they are, explicitly acknowledging you likely weren’t aware of the elevation.
In sum: So far you’re doing a horrible job of trying to dishonestly turn this on me and absolve yourself of any responsibility for your own behavior, but I’m sure you’ll keep trying since you always have to have the last word.

LOL. OK, Cranny. For the record: per usual, you have absolutely NO substantive response--because you don't have any answers. Nothing but evasion, redirection, and diversion. The "ill will" is all yours. You get what you give. But by all means, continue playing the victim and blaming everyone else for your own behavior.

What a terrible thread this has turned into. You click thinking you might read something about Chase Davis, or what the posters think of him and just get page after page of this childish garbage. Could we talk baseball?
Re: Chase Davis
Thank you, TB. Great idea. We seem to have an imbalance right now in the minors between position players and pitchers.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025 12:26 pm What a terrible thread this has turned into. The pitchers were ranked recently as #3 in MiLB. There's a real shortage of position players, though. Some experts feel that we have JJ, Chase, Crooks, and Bernal as decent prospects and have an outside shot with Baez and Cho. But that's about it. We may need to go back to trading some pithing for some bats.
Re: Chase Davis
Chase is 1 for his last 16...no XBH in that span. Avg .256.
What did you do to him, Cranny? Dang.
everyone on the Springfield team is struggling....with the Exception of Singles Uqueto and Wetherholt.
