Post by bud white »

Let that sink in for a minute...

2 of the 3 top goalies are out in the first round.

And we have yet to see an upset in the first round. It's been a few years since a true "shocker" (Blue Jackets upending Tampa Bay is the most improbable in recent memory), so we're overdue. (By the way, Dallas and Colorado was a "pick 'em" series to begin with - they were that close. But it's great to see those two in a dogfight and going to a Game 7.)

Blues weren't a typical Wild Card this year. They've been a top team since Monty came on board and their push after the 4 Nations tournament was the talk of the NHL.

What will we see tonight? Do we see a Game 7? With Schiefele out, how does Winnipeg respond? Make no mistake, that is a huge hole for them.

Can't wait! LGB!

I didn't realize Kuemper had such a good year. I think he played way above the back of his card. Not surprising to see him crash and burn in the playoffs. 3.74 .889

Vasilevsky just looked tired in the playoffs, he wasn't a difference maker at all. 3.72 .872

Hellebuyck, well I guess we'll see. 3.96 .822

Binnington's save percentage isn't immensely better but his GAA is much better 2.65 .893
