That's my guess. That hit by Schenn followed by that hit from Faksa really shook him. Didn't seem to be a mobility problem because he stayed on after those hits.

But if he's gone for the series, that helps the Blues, who have their own problems missing Holloway. It's hard for the next man up factor to last a long time when a key player is lost.

The post game radio guys were certain it was Faksa’s check, about four shifts after the Schenn hit, that took Scheifele out. I missed the game and the replay has unskippable commercials so I’m too sleepy to sit for the whole enchilada.. I cannot find a YouTube clip. I guess Faksa’s was a clean check?
They awarded Faksa the work boots for that hit.

I agree 100% that it was Faksa’(poop). After the Schenn hit, Scheifele was instantly on his feet skating around while the scrum was happening, he wasn’t even dazed. I’d bet he’s got an upper body injury from the Faksa hit NOT a concussion from the Schenn hit. He didn’t miss a shift until Faska stoog him up.

After game 4 when Scheifele was being interviewed he had the beak of his hat down over his eyes so you couldn’t see his face. I thought it was weird and was wondering if he was battling some sort of injury then.
