I had Dallas and still have them. And if they get out of this first round they won't face another opponent quite as strong as the Avs, except maybe the starpower of the Oil. If I had to rank it would have been Dallas, Avs, Oil, Vegas in that order. Minnesota choked off a chance, and so did LA to put those other 2 away. And obviously you can't really say Dallas and Avs.

Oil get out of this first round and they will be dangerous. They were ripe to be put down early by everyone not named LA. LA for some reason has an urge to not win against the Oil. That Byfield turnover is going to go down in history as one of the worst decisions made assuming they lose the series. They unlocked the demons that are McJesus, Drai and Bouchard.

That Byfield play was SUCH a poor decision. You just knew when that happened that LA was going to blow it. I don't watch LA and Byfield regularly so I do not know if this is usual, but I will say that they have shortened their bench big time later in games and when you are tired, you can make mistakes that you never would have made normally.

no doubt, it was easy to see what he was thinking. The puck came to him at the perfect spot and he had a ton of space so he thought he could just skate it out and end it. But the smarter play with a chance of screwing up was just flipping it. it was 100 percent getting out of the zone because the defenders were no where to be found. but he could have accidently iced it and gave up a 1 timer. instead he gets stripped. It's a play that really only a young guy with as much talent as him can make. Because they think too highly of their game and that probably hasn't happened ever.

He didn’t get stripped and he tried to chip it out/to himself but waited a 1/4 second too long.

He was in the process of chipping it to himself and that’s not a strip when it deflects to the corner/boards

Id be very surprised if Oilers Beat LA.
My opinion--Jets or Blues are top teams.
Lets see how tonight goes. Oilers are not team to beat imo. Id put Av's and Dallas over them.
Golden Knights area a tough team. Lots of experience.
Im not sure there is a clear cut favorite. Lets see who makes it out of the first round.

Vegas is still favorite imo. If Blues can knock off Jets--that would be huge!
Vegas Colorado are favs imo. Lets see what happens. Im undecided. Very fluid situation.


IMO Oilers are least likely to win it. Id rank Dallas Colorado, Blues/Jets, and Vegas above Oilers. They have no(verry little) depth imo.
