Imagine losing to a team for 4 years

Reminds me of the Blues with the Kings (even though they only lost twice). Felt like 5 years though

It reminds me of the Blues/Wings rivalry in the 90's when the Blues lost 3 consecutive years in hard fought series and actually lost to them 4 times in 7 years. In 3 of those years, Detroit won the Cup (97, 98, & 02)
Blues lost in rhe playoffs to the eventual Cup winner
5 times over a 6 year period.
We had very good teams but could never get past Detroit, Colorado or Dallas.
We did knock of Dallas in 2001 when they were the defending champs

Agreed on the Wings. That was so long ago though. I hated the Kings so much. We were super close to them but just v couldn’t beat them.
