I read that quote too and thought it was a bit ironic given the current circumstances
Re: “I’ve studied goaltending more than anyone in the World”
Lol yea I saw that yesterday and just shook my head. Even if a normal goal is scored on him at this point (unless the Jets are up huge at the time), it is going to be disastrous.

Contrast that answer with this:

Re: “I’ve studied goaltending more than anyone in the World”
He is very "Not my fault" when he chokes year after year.
I am sure there is some truth to that as ice hockey is very much a team game but he is not adjusting and the Blues are actually scoring goals against the Jets D and G. What I mean by that is there are not a lot of lucky bounces on the Blues goals.

Is this guy a locker room problem?
Leaving the bench and hitting the shower early.... supposedly known for not taking account for his play.
I'm wondering.

What a loser
He must have skipped the chapters about playoffs and how to play the puck out of the net

Can have Roy or Tretiak … can’t win with a one line team.Hooking wrote: ↑29 Apr 2025 14:58 pm He is very "Not my fault" when he chokes year after year.

I laughed at him saying this yesterday to the point I surfaced it in conversation with someone you have to use discretion with "how much hockey detail can they take?" and read the quote out loud in the tone it deserves

Re: “I’ve studied goaltending more than anyone in the World”
If you read the whole article he did not say its not his fault. He said he has to play better and didnt blame the team. He was just saying he didnt forget how to play and knows he is capable of rebounding andnisnt gonna do anything drastic to change his normal routine and form because he believes he is still the goalie he was in the regular season.Hooking wrote: ↑29 Apr 2025 14:58 pm He is very "Not my fault" when he chokes year after year.

Re: “I’ve studied goaltending more than anyone in the World”
Why would he change his routine/approach? He's definitely in trouble until he figures it out. The issue here is that he has a long history of choking and it's looking bleak for him yet again. Much of what is happening can be attributed to the Blues simply outplaying the Jets. Hopefully the Blues can bring their "A" game the next two and close it out.Wattage wrote: ↑29 Apr 2025 19:26 pmIf you read the whole article he did not say its not his fault. Man, Games 3 and 4 were LOUD. Can you imagine what Enterprise will be like for Game 6 if we win in the 'Peg?
I couldn't afford SCF tickets, but the loudest I've ever heard Enterprise was the Watch Party for Game 2 when Boom Boom scored in OT. I couldn't hear much of anything the next day.

He's in his own head and on the defensive.
Good signs.
