This 2025 version and the last couple years have Been the most boring, talentless, lackluster, non-entertaining Cardinals Baseball I’ve seen in my lifetime. Worse than the late 70’s….worse than the early 90’s before LaRussa arrived.
Is there a Whitey or LaRussa/Dunc…..McGwire…..Pujols on the horizon to save this organization? I highly doubt it

Yes. I cannot even stomach watching them on cable, the few times they are on. Tonight, it was re-runs over Cards at the Reds. I just cannot say that watching bad baseball is better than no baseball at all.Goldfan wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025 20:32 pm This 2025 version and the last couple years have Been the most boring, talentless, lackluster, non-entertaining Cardinals Baseball I’ve seen in my lifetime. When they acquired McGwire, they managed to bring a veteran still in their prime, who also happened to be the focal point of baseball, to St Louis. That is something that will probably not happen again for a long time.

Don't watch.
Plenty of other things to watch or do.
Mo has assembled the biggest snoozefest.

Re: Watching this Cards team
Watching this reminds me of the days this organization was serious about competing for titles. This current bunch is far from that. DeWitt no longer competes. Mozeliak makes a competition of how little he can do and still get paid. And oli competes against his iPad at Candy Crush.
Re: Watching this Cards team
It’s embarrassing for this to be happening in St. Louis. If Cincy can pay a manager like Francona theres no reason why BDW can’t.
Again, what’s the draw to Busch? Little talent, no personalities, rookie league manager, promise of no FA stars…..

I’m a grumpy old man. I like watching as it gives me something to complain about.
