Walker

Post by Chubbs0910 »

One minute I walk away after his seemingly rough knee injury and the next he's getting a 10 min misconduct.

What exactly happened there?

Tucker injured his knee not Walker.

It was definitely Walker crumbling into the boards awkwardly.

I think Walker got tossed with Lowry in the waining minutes of the game.

I don't recall walker crumbling into the boards.

I expected this thread to be either about Walker's contribution OR about the best neo noir of the 1960's Point Blank (1967) featuring Lee Marvin as the title character Walker in a landmark revenge classic.

Assuming the former, Nathan Walker always been likable even if a 4th/5th line tweener. But this season he has been an essential 4th liner. That whole 4th line deserves showering of praise, all three of them, and I love how Montgomery throws that line out for a center ice faceoff to set a level in this postseason.

The hits and blocked shots are piling up and it's making a huge difference. Walker is so (bleep) solid in terms of unbreakable effort.

Weird. Watch the replay. He went down in the corner for no reason pretty much. Seemed ugly, barely got off the ice. Then he's back. It's a good thing, but that doesn't make it less odd.

Prior to this season and most of the first half, I would have moved Walker for nothing. He's moved up in value in the second half.

I have never seen a fourth-liner with a better attitude nor a bigger heart.
He has just enough size to make watching him a most improbable delight.

I would dress him until hall freezes over if he tells me he is ready to play.

What replay are you talking about? What period, what time of the period (appx), what end etc.

The identical thing you've described more than once happened to Tyler Tucker, not Nathan Walker. It happened with approximately 4 minutes left in the game, in the corner to the right of Binnington.

100%

And for the record one more time...he's not JAG.
