Tied for 8th with the Reds. Trending downwards. Only 2 players in the top 5o in OPS. Donovan 13 and Noot 38.
The dodger have scored three more runs than the cardinals. Trending down? Still April
OPS.

They are tied for 8th with the Reds and trending downwards. You can look these stats up and not make up stuff.

Donovan and Nootbaar both excellent players are the only two in the top 50

Donovan is 12th and Noot is 38th
Last 7 days on Fangraphs has us at 9th in MLB in OPS. Not exactly terrible.

It seems like most of this team is sub 700….
With that cast of complimentary pieces, this rotation and bullpen, we would need a couple binafide thumpers in this lineup to compete in the postseason.

Ahh, not sixth but eighth among all MLB teams. A dynamic difference. So again, where should they rank?

The offense is going to be good especially when herrera gets back unless it takes him time to catch back up to game speed if they rush him back but once he gets going they will be really good

And the stats are still inflated by their 1st 9 games vs. the Twins and Angels at home and on the road at Fenway. Very spotty since then.

Last 19 games, runs scored: 4, 5, 1, 2, 1, 7, 8, 0, 4, 1, 4, 0, 4, 6, 10, 1, 3, 6, 1. So 2 or fewer runs 8 times. 4 or fewer 13 times. 5 or more 6 times. Hit or miss. Much more miss.

It seems like most of this team is sub 700….
Of the 7 listed Several of them are reserve type guys
Only Winn Contreras Walker are positional starters.
Pages is backup due to Herrera out.
Guess Burly as most often used DH can be counted.
So 4 starters are sub 700 and one is the primary DH. That’s awful.
Have you looked at the MLB team stats lately?
Apparently not..
The Cards rank 8th in mlb in OPS
Their .265 batting average is tied for No. 1 with Cubs
They had 259 hits 2nd misty.
And you complain about a few ops guys?
This offense had been very good and you cherry pick a few guys and seem to think Cardinal offense then is awful.
Look at the entire team as s whole instead of a fee guys.
They are myopic and will try take issue with anything they think will slam the FO...

They ain’t filling up an ALL-Star roster that’s for sure. MO’s system sure could produce mediocrity in bunches
That's what scary about a "rebuild". We don't have enough hitting talent in our system to fill a roster, not much to be developed left in the minors, and not nearly as much "trade bait" as posters pretend we have.

We aren't getting a Hunter Greene or Bobby Witt level prospect for Helsley or Gray or Nado or even all of them combined. Not even someone half that good. We have too many Jags and trading vets will just us more Jags, UNLESS we take on some salary.

I only see two keepers in that group, the rest are just "meh" and that is starting to include the overrate, overhyped J. Walker.

The teams OPS is now 10th overall and sharply trending downward.

Besides Noot 835, Donovan 910, Nado 781 who's a good hitter on this team? That's 3 guys.

Scott is functional at 697

But then you have Conteras 602, Gorman 661 (SSS) so he gets a pass I guess, Walker 550, Pages 633, Winn 619

Nothing about that says good offense.

I don't care what the team stats are that were highly inflated by the first 9 games. It has largely sucked since, including tonight against a retread RH starter.

Anyone who watches this team knows it a terrible offense. They should nuke and repave.

His 550 OPS isn't doing much for the team. Does he go down in May?
