I would hope for more pop. Also, if there is no Arenado, Nootbaar, or Donovan I would expect someone of significance to plug in.

You are underestimating Saggese. He's just scratching the surface as an MLB hitter. He's going to be a good one for a long time. Wetherholt may be a better eventual MLB hitter than Saggese. But that's certainly not a given. I guess we will have to just wait and see. The future catcher situation is fluid, indeed.

Nootbar will be a Dodger in the next few years if not this year via trade or after 2027 as a free agent

He's not a fit at 3rd base (power bat position), not going to block JJW at 2nd either if the kid is who we think he is.

Nope, they'll go big for Tucker if he hits the open market.

I expect Noot & Donovan to ink extensions in the next year or so.

VS2 CF
Noot RF
Donovan LF
Wetherholt 3B
Herrera/Gorman 1B
Crooks/Bernal C
Gorman/Herrera DH
Sagesse 2B
Winn SS

Just using current players in the system, but always kinda silly to project out very far if we followed this out a couple years.
Talk about a cost controlled lineup, which IF this turned out to be anywhere close the Cards FO would need to invest into some top notch pitching or continue to potentially lose more of its fan base, or invest into a Kyle Tucker type position player (pause for laughter).

Hmmm. Don’t know. You have three guys listed with no major league experience. Two that have yet to prove they can play at this level. And no Noot or Donovan ? I’m not sure that’s a winning line up.

I shoulkd have specified this being a 3 year lineup projection. Obviously, a lot can happen between now and then. Maybe Donovan is still around and is still very productive.

1. Scott CF
2. Saggese 2B
3. Burleson LF
4. Burleson LF
5. Saggese 2B
6. Burleson LF
7. Burleson LF
8. Saggese 2B
9. Burleson LF

But now if Burleson doesn't "pick it up" here, we may need to reconsider this
