I don’t recall anyone questioning Cook’s intangibles. His ability to read defenses, throw the ball, and use check downs, on the other hand..

Cook may get a shot as a camp arm somewhere. But nobody in the NFL wants a QB who has great difficulty completing passes downfield, doesn't keep his eyes downfield under pressure or under anticipation of pressure, and who often does not process info quickly enough to choose 2nd and 3rd options.

WE will root for Brady, JW Jr, theo, MB, LBIII and Membou of course. Cook is especially intriguing but does have issues including long balls, reading D's and finding his second and third option plus happy feet. Those are coachable things and we shall see how he adapts to NFL. Plus the injury issue.

Luther is another who had a less than great senior year but whether that was the fault of the OC who really had a bad year playcalling and didn't target his star receiver nearly enough. Big problem I heard on talking head say after combine was his speed and agility numbers were not that impressive. Hopefully he has a great NFL career but going to a team like Bears who arn't exactly known for a great offense doesn't help. But could be a really great possession receiver and having a QB who can actually throw the ball effectively down field will be a bonus.

Membou should have a stellar career but with a star crossed team who doesn't do many things well. Will still get paid.

But it's amazing the team won all these games the last two years with individuals having less than great years.

3rd string QB's can dress but can't be activated for a game unless the the top two are injured and can't return.
