Re: Vilardi is back for the Jets tomorrow
Smacks of desperation by the Jet's. The Blues put the body on Scheifele, and took the time and space away from Connor. Think they are feeling their offense is drying up... Blues need to stay out of the box and the Jet's will continue having a difficult time putting the puck in the net...

Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits. He will increase their production on the ice if healthy, but won't be quite as good as he would otherwise be if Ehlers isn't also out there (they still are going to be mostly a 2 line team).
We'll know one way or another in about 24 hours how it helped

And, if he does make a difference, maybe we'll just offer sheet him in the off seasonJoshInFenton wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:52 pm Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits. The Blues don’t have their 2026 2nd round pick so they cannot currently make a competitive offer for VilardiArmy's Mom wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:55 pmAnd, if he does make a difference, maybe we'll just offer sheet him in the off seasonJoshInFenton wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:52 pm Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits. From the article you linked:
"He did not partake in line rushes, which tends to indicate he won't be returning for Sunday's afair."

Help me out....... where's the link?
If he's back no way this good news for Blues but fact is they need to tend to their own jobs as they did Thursday night and not worry about what the Jets are doing or who they are playing.

Sounds like another target for the Blues to pulverize

Re: Vilardi is back for the Jets tomorrow
If he's been out awhile it will most likely take him a few games to get up to speed.
Re: Vilardi is back for the Jets tomorrow
Hes not though. He just returned to practice. He may for game 5 but miniscule chance today.
Re: Vilardi is back for the Jets tomorrow
I think Vilardi is a game time decision.

I see an early August morning trade that has people saying “why are we doing a straight draft pick trade today, are the GM’s bored”.noted wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:40 pmThe Blues don’t have their 2026 2nd round pick so they cannot currently make a competitive offer for VilardiArmy's Mom wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:55 pmAnd, if he does make a difference, maybe we'll just offer sheet him in the off seasonJoshInFenton wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:52 pm Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits. Hahaha...agreed....but if he does that he might as well put up a billboard with his plans on it.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 10:49 amI see an early August morning trade that has people saying “why are we doing a straight draft pick trade today, are the GM’s bored”.noted wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:40 pmThe Blues don’t have their 2026 2nd round pick so they cannot currently make a competitive offer for VilardiArmy's Mom wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:55 pmAnd, if he does make a difference, maybe we'll just offer sheet him in the off seasonJoshInFenton wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:52 pm Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits. All joking aside, I doubt the Blues who go the offer sheet route two straight years. It did add a ton of excitement to last August though.dhsux wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 10:52 amHahaha...agreed....but if he does that he might as well put up a billboard with his plans on it.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025 10:49 amI see an early August morning trade that has people saying “why are we doing a straight draft pick trade today, are the GM’s bored”.noted wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:40 pmThe Blues don’t have their 2026 2nd round pick so they cannot currently make a competitive offer for VilardiArmy's Mom wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:55 pmAnd, if he does make a difference, maybe we'll just offer sheet him in the off seasonJoshInFenton wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:52 pm Only helps if he has the pain tolerance to take hits.
