Only a single day between games 5/6 and games 6/7 will come into play as long as the Blues win at least one of the next 2.

If the Blues win both the next 2, I have no idea how the Jets plan to respond physically next Friday night in G6 in a building the Blues are rolling in right now, with both a single day's rest and every ounce of doubt.

These games are, must be, brutal. That's this team's MO. The more rest, the better.

Probably everybody forgot we once had a player named Holloway. I don't know how injured he is.

While I don't think it's much but I would guess that the Blues benefit. You have to like how Montgomery is using his practice time. Both Thomas and Parakyo seemed to be better Thursday. Every little day helps.

The Jets, coming in, were the larger, more accomplished team. However, coming in, they were leaning on a single goalie, the Blues had/have a working tandem. That is a very significant advantage, as other posters have described.

He pretty much blew out a tire at the beginning of this pivotal game 3. Hopefully, the legacy of play-off failure now comes into play.

Here's THG's take on game 3 - he also thinks this game was pivotal :

A nice analysis of Blues strategy of play pre-playoffs :

It will be very important to tag up Helle early in the first tomorrow - which this team has the knack at doing.
