Did the Blues just poke the bear?
Or did the Jets just poke the bear?
Sundays game might just answer that question for the series.
I do think think to maintain the intensity of game 3......the Blues face the greater challenge in game 4. But if they can meet it...Katy bar the door!

Re: Poking the Bear
If the Blues win the next game I think they win this series. I think the Jets are on the verge of collapse. They look like they are having issues. Getting out coached too.
Re: Poking the Bear
Nothing has really changed for the Blues, if they don't protect home ice they are in a world of hurt.
I'm sure the Blues are thinking they could and should be up at least 2-1. They have now established the four good periods they played in Winnipeg were no fluke. As a team they have to believe if they bring their A-game they will win. If they do, it's a best of three series.
If the Blues take this series, any series, they will win on the road. I think the Jets will be confident in their home ice advantage until they lose it. Right now, I'd say they are headed in that direction.

Re: Poking the Bear
Its hard to over analyze one game. That being said the Blues were right there in the first two games, outplayed at times esp the 3rd period but one or two bounces and the Blues could have been up 2-1.
Sunday is so big Im glad for Blues fans to be able to have this after a few bad years. This looks like a long series if the Blues can keep pumping in goals i like their chances

Agreed. All the pressure was on them going in, and Hellebyuck. They absolutely imploded at the end last night. If they can't find an answer for the Blues checking, theyre toast.
Re: Poking the Bear
For some weird reason the Jets are going after our young guys. The kids are handling it beautifully too. Getting under their skins and taking the lumps.
Re: Poking the Bear
The Jets a bear? Too funny. Their playoff collapses are legendary and their fans are finding them unbearable and are already expecting the worst. They aren't that good. They got two gift goals to win game 2. And Hellychoke is still Hellychoke.dhsux wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025 08:20 am Did the Blues just poke the bear?
