Also shhhhhhh.

This post is also wrong. They heavily patrol this area and ticket like mad all the time. Don’t park here. :D
I can walk the 3 blocks faster than fans leaving can drive.

And you can't live your life in fear because it isn't a good life is it?

Not 100% sure what you are saying. I agree with you. I’m never ever parking In a garage at a crowded event. I don’t get that at all but I don’t have patience to wait and I’m not paying to park when street parking is mostly free

I always park near the federal courthouse. Lots of meters and it’s and easy out to 40 west. Was simply discouraging others from doing the same.

Referring to the street crime issue is all.

Got it now. Yeah, there is a contingent here, but especially over at Cards talk, that think you are going to get raped and murdered just by going to a game and parking anywhere downtown. I don't subscribe to that, even parking away from the rink. Walk fast, be aware and you are going to be fine. Plus, there is always security lingering near that courthouse.

Still though, everyone should be careful and not park near 10/11th, Market, Walnut, near CH5, near the courthouse. It's like the Hunger Games over there.

You going tomorrow? I dumb lucked into somebody putting tix on TM resale without doing research as to what others were selling for. They just set a price they thought was fair. It was 40% or so lower than avg tix and in the first couple of rows of the upper level where we shoot twice. I clicked purchase as fast as i could. My timing usually sucks. It was perfect for this.

Oh, Lordy, I remember a few January nights on that walkway bridge when it felt like 100 below!! 🥶

A teeth chattering Amen to that.

Hazelwood: I was afraid of heights so that bridge over Hey 40 was a challenge at all times, but to get that free parking & not be so afraid of getting robbed in those days, I gingerly would walk across the bridge each way. In fact, I am now wearing a T-shirt with a photo of the Arena on it. What a great place.
See the “True Blues” film on you tube & relive those days

Who knows: me or you might be in one of those shots in True Blues

Walking that bridge was a unique experience! Walking back after the loss, when cold seemed like it took forever.
