Luke's crosschecks

Post by Dangler1 »

I assume the Schenn bros are spending more time together during this series, and by extension with Jimmy S (since he lives with Brayden).

In light of this assumption, Luke's overkill of crosschecks on Jimmy late in the game was interesting to watch.

Maybe? Also wouldn’t be surprised if the brothers aren’t really hanging out much or talking much this week. But would he funny if Luke would come over for dinner or something at Brayden’s house tonight.

IF they all sat down for dinner my guess is it would go something like this:

Snuggs: "You know I'm gonna crosscheck the sh*t out of you next time I catch you with your back turned."
Luke: "You'll never get the chance but bring it, rook."

Then they'd laugh and share a drink. That's usually how it goes with hockey players. You have to be Kadri-level dirty to reach a point of animosity off the ice.

It was reported that they resolved to not communicate with each other until the series was over. But I’m sure they’ll laugh about it later.

I always hated that move, cross checking guys in the lower back. The only time I liked it is when Bortuzo did it to that wuss on Dallas in the 2019 playoffs! He deserved it and he was flopping all over the friggin’ place!
