Thank You Anaheim
Cam Fowler with 36 points in 51 regular season games and 7 points in 3 playoff games.
Unreal.

Awesome pick-up. Him making a mad dash down the ice and scoring really shows how invested he is. Unreal.
Re: Thank You Anaheim
Yes, what a great pick up. Dude is all over the ice and knows when to activate. Love it.

Mid season extension next year. Book it
Re: Thank You Anaheim
Imagine netting a hat trick in a must-have home ice playoff game victory after scoring two awesome goals right out of the gate to put your team up 2-0, netting a quick answer goal late in the game, adding an assist for four points with six hits and leading all forwards in ice time by OVER TWO MINUTES . . . I mean, imagine that kind of performance and you are NOT the Star of the Game! And nobody is complaining.
Re: Thank You Anaheim
At 4 mil and being 33 i would give him another 4 years. Would he take same pay

Here I thought it was just a move to solidify and add some depth to the defense and out comes Bobby Orr(exaggerating I know).
Guy finds the net like a 50-goal sniper back in the 80's.

Re: Thank You Anaheim
St. Louis Blues defenseman Cam Fowler set a St. Louis Blues franchise record with five points in a Stanley Cup Playoff game in Thursday's 7-2 rout of the Winnipeg Jets in Game 3.
No defenseman in team history had ever recorded more than four points in a single postseason game.
Fowler's five-point performance (one goal, four assists) passed the team's previous record holder - Brian Benning, who had four points in Game 3 of the 1987 Division Semifinals.
Only seven other defenseman in NHL history have recorded five or more points in a playoff game - Paul Coffey (6 points), Denis Potvin (5 points), Al MacInnis (5 points), Eddie Bush (5 points), Bob Dailey (5 points), Cale Makar (5 points), Risto Siltanen (5 points).

I just hope they don't overpay him as he is aging and I'm sure (although it'd be great if he didn't) he'll come back to earth at least a little bit next year.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025 10:31 am I just posted my longshot potential Blues D pairs in 26'-27' and had to quickly edit them because i too believe that Fowler will retire here

Also, not to tangent, but isn't next year the last of Faulk's contract?

Re: Thank You Anaheim
There were many on this board that were angry at DA for the trade.
The idiots cried out "he trading away yet another draft pick!".
People on this board need to just sit back and trust in DA....the guy knows what he is doing and I pray to God that he actually stays on as President after Steen takes over and doesn't bolt for Toronto or somewhere else to be GM.

I said it in the GDT and will say it again here: He's everything Krug was supposed to be for this team.

Re: Thank You Anaheim
I’ll admit I was wrong about this trade when it happened. I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. And not that I doubted Cam but I just didn’t see it as necessary or worth spending a 2nd to get Cam as I just didn’t see this as a playoff team. So kudos to Army for seeing it and making the move.
And while we spent a 2nd, we also got a 4th back along with Cam. If this deal happened on trade deadline day, it’d be talked about as the best deadline deal in the league. Cam has been fantastic for us. Glad he’s here and he makes the outlook of next season look a lot better too.

I like Faulk's game, but not as 2RHD. Blues need to find someone this off-season. Easier said than done for RHD.

Re: Thank You Anaheim
I'd have no issue with the team extending Folwer but I'd like to see it be a 2 year extension at no more than he makes now at 6 or 6.5. Leddy's deal would be off the books by theme that kicked in.
