Blues have been the better team in the first period in all three games. Hopefully the crowd will allow them to carry the momentum into the third instead of fading.

On a separate note, at around the 8:00 left mark, Blues had two players check the same player behind the net. If one Blues player has a Jets player tied up along the board, is it legal for a second man to come barreling in? They have not replayed that play, but I think it was Sunny laying the wood.

As long as the second player doesn’t take more than a 3 stride head start, he is allowed to check the puck carrier. More than 3 strides gets him a charging penalty.

NOTE: The 3 stride rule is old school based on my understanding of the rule from quite a few years ago. I’m not 100% sure what constitutes charging in the current NHL.

That was some f'n rec league type refing. They should be ashamed of themselves. I understand the call on Schenn was weak but we had plenty of weak calls against in Winnepeg.

The call on Thomas was simply non-existent.
