Their 3 best players being Sheiffle, Connor, and Hellebuyck. Helle has looked like he can be scored on, Connor has played 4 good periods and lit up the scoreboard. Sheiffle has created chaos. But if those goals don't go in for him when he didn't get a shot on net for either of them, then people would be changing their tune.
Winnipeg is missing Ehlers and Vilardi - they have 124 regular season points between the two of them...
I’m not disputing that. I’m saying the players available. And it does sound like vilardi is returning. Holloway was out ;th best player maybe 3rd over Binner this season. He’s not Avila me and not being counted. It’s why he was separated.

Winnipeg is the better team. I don't think there is disputing that. The history of any sport is littered with the better team losing.
I'm not counting the Blues out but they have a tough task. Our two best players are playing hurt. The player that kind of brings it all together is out. You see this every year, teams just run out of gas with injuries.
The good is that the experience the young players are getting. Hitchcock used to call it organizational knowledge. This summer will be important for the youngsters to train to be even better. Over the next year or two we'll be sprinkling in several high end prospects.
The Reality is…the Blues have now scored 11 GF to the Jets 9 GA. Take away the (2) fluke goals by the Jets and their empty net goal…and it’s 11 GF and 6 GA. Plus the Blues PP % and PK % now has the lead over the Jets. Never go by the series game lead. Go by your eyes. Besides the (2) third periods in Winnipeg, the Blues have dominated play in every other period. The series is turning right before your eyes. Sunday’s game will go a long way to “seeing” if my “eyes” are correct…but the Reality is…the Blues are more in the mix of this series than outside people may think or what a series game lead says.
