Winn in the lineup, no word on who got sent down.
No Saggese in the lineup. Gorman batting #3. Burleson #5.

Siani got the ticket to Memphis.

I guess that means Saggese is still with the Cardinals.

I loved State College.
They used to come through and play the Auburn Doubledays.
Great prospect scouting.

Winn's had some injury issues. Saggese is valuable as a backup SS.Jobu's Rum wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 14:48 pm
yeah, the right call. Saggese earned it, and Siani is redundant with Vic holding down CF with an above avg. glove and good bat.
You just CANT send down Sagg. with what he has done, it'd be Walker pt 2
Re: Winn in the lineup, no word on who got sent down.
Keeping Saggese clearly the right call. Then it probably came down to Siani or Baker?
I like Siani for his defense/base running/bunting but his bat was awful.
He’ll be ready at Memphis if an OF goes down.
Scott will play every day.
Noot can play one game per week in CF if needed.
Actually .......if Siani wants to blame anyone for his demotion it should be Walker!
His improvement on defense made the need for late inning defense unnecessary.

I would have sent down Burleson just to keep Oli from playing himCusecards wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 15:00 pm Keeping Saggese clearly the right call. Then it probably came down to Siani or Baker?

I could handle Burleson in the lineup vs RH pitching but not batting 5th.

I like how Shady surmised that there was "no word on who got sent down" because he didn't actually look.

I heard they're going to send Big Fatass Burleson to the Arkansas Travelers
Re: Winn in the lineup, no word on who got sent down.
And if I was managing , I would use Saggesr often as DHShady wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 14:51 pmWinn's had some injury issues. Saggese is valuable as a backup SS.Jobu's Rum wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 14:48 pm

Want his bat in lineup ad often as si can when not spelling other players .
Re: Winn in the lineup, no word on who got sent down.
Not me, I would take Saggese over him every day of the week and twice on Sundays no matter who's pitchingCusecards wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 15:08 pmI get the frustration.riff raff wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 15:05 pmI would have sent down Burleson just to keep Oli from playing himCusecards wrote: ↑22 Apr 2025 15:00 pm Keeping Saggese clearly the right call.
