The refs aren’t helping at all but the Blues are outclassed

Man I thought that was a great period. I don’t see it that way at all. Jets are good, but how do you watch that period and use the term “outclassed” ?

I mean a lot changed just by Snug scoring but when I posted that (which was way before the end of the period)blues were running around taking penalties. Getting plastered physically. And getting bailed out by Binnington.

Blues matched them hit for hit. Their goalie did a lot of bailing out too. The goal at the end didn’t change my opinion at all.

No reason to. Whistle blows if Jets even touch the puck

Except the ole gain-the-zone play and someone passes back to the D and it wizes by everyone in their own goal. Then there are the gaffs in their own end that happen to go in. It's rare but it happens.

Thomas is a train wreck on PP. He keeps trying to bring puck in all by himself and turns it over. Needs to realize there are other white jerseys on the ice. Two turnovers on one PP shift.

Yea we just disagree about the first 15ish minutes of that game. All good. Happy they tied it up and calmed it down a bit either way

Well in fairness that poster had never posted on Blues Talk prior to game 1 and then immediately started whining about people trying to find positives after losing to a team that is "much better."

Didn’t know I had to meet some requirements to post here.

Take the Blue-colored glasses off. Two lazy stick penalties and a goal allowed where the forward checked his own goalie out of the play.

Do I want the Blues to win? Of course I do. But take the emotion out of it.

Stanley is really tall so probably gets away with it. His forearm went straight into Kyrou's face on that huge hit in the 1st.
