CP had a rough match he needs to be a lot betterTBone wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 14:13 pmWhat impressed me about Buchnevich was he was playing up to his size and knocking people around.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 10:10 am Its a valid point for Buch i thought he played pretty well in Game 1.
Most of the minus players Saturday were minus due to pathetic efforts of Parayko and others at clearing the D zone. Yup

Do you think he thinks about that? Like ever?
How many point per game in the playoffs players are skating in the National Hockey League at this moment? Because Buch has been a ppg player in the playoffs for three, going on four playoff series now. I do not expect him to slow down as he had a beauty of an assist yesterday .
I can wait a long time for your answer.
When you have answered my question, you should have the answer to your own question.
13 games as a blue 0 goals -5.
That’s ugly yup
You were too fricken chicken to see how many teams have players who average a ppg in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, ain't ya?
Back to "Foeville" Junior....
If you could face what keeps you up at night, you might find a different path than the one that only leads you under the bridge to Troll Town, eh?
Now in his third series with the Blues, he is a, virtual, ppg player. Here are Playoff numbers for some of his teammates- Schenn's are only for his tenure as a Blue.
Robert Thomas 46 5 14 19 -11
Jordan Kyrou 22 9 2 11 -10
Brayden Schenn 52 8 18 26 -13
We are very lucky to have Buchnevich. He is an unselfish, team-first, hound around opposing nets. When he is on the ice in the playoffs for the Blues, we have our best scenario for scoring a goal. Why do you think they keep him, the only constant, on Thomas' line?
I think he would probably like to score more goals, himself, but the knowledge that he is a virtual ppg player here, and SOMEONE scored a goal helps him get some shut-eye.
Re: Buchnevich needs to score
I’m looking at him. Not other players on the team. It’s too much to ask for a 30 year who makes over 8 million to score an ES goal? He hasn’t yet in his career.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 14:42 pmtheograce wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 11:08 amI’m not calling you names….you really think he’s thinking of himself as a ppg player in the playoffs and feeling good? You admit you look at this individually, and from a basis of understanding where you see Buchnevich thinking like a guy who cares more about personal success than team success.theograce wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 15:52 pmI’m looking at him. Am I correct in this assumption? If not, please tell me what point of view you do imagine Pavel Buchnevich wakes up to every morning where being an integral part on the top line of a playoff team who has averaged just about a point for every playoff game in which he has had the fortune to play… is not enough?
Re: Buchnevich needs to score
Well I’m comparing to him to others making 8+ million dollars. Name the other ones who are 30+ who have never scored an ES playoff goal. It’s like you think it’s ok he doesn’t score lol

Re: Buchnevich needs to score
I have named all the ones who make what he makes… who are not as productive as he is in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
If that isn’t enough for you then I must call into question the value system you have chosen within which to evaluate offensive value in hockey games.

Sure he needs to score, but he's helping others score...14 games, 13 points (counting tonight).

Somebody has a cubby.
Re: Buchnevich needs to score
Buch needs a new team that is carrying golf clubs in mid April as he is not a playoff caliber player. He has 1 shot and 1 hit in the two games combined!

He is a choker in the playoffs
