Finally, a good call by Pops at 3rd to hold Gorman.
Rule of thumb is usually with 2 outs you send the runner home .
However, in this case
A. Gorman lacks speed and
B. The single was a liner one hopper directly in line with right fielder
Sending Gorman dead duck at home.
Got a nice break with errant throw.
Finally a ‘hold’ by Pops I agree with.
Haven’t been many decisions there positive at 3rd

...Obviously 2 strike zones in play this evening... 1st 2 pitches from Fedde to Murphy were definitely on the line or in the zone, called balls... but ball has to be 3 inches or more outside the lines to be a ball for the Cards...
