Tax abatements don’t counter muggings, shootings, carjackings…..skeezix wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 21:16 pmHave you ever heard of tax abatements?Goldfan wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 21:14 pmWhy would anyone put more $$$ in downtown Stl? Hey... That is my retirement plan too.
Re: Dimwit & Mo master plan
The height of irony. Some anonymous guy on an internet forum calls a guy who’s made multi-billions investing in a variety of businesses a “dimwit”.
LOL.

An additional height of irony is an 81 year old FO butt kisser telling us all how sharp the almost 84 year old Cardinals owner is. He sure is showing it every day, isn’t he? Better guard those Lovers Leaps when the season is over.

Well, Rojo, I guess you didn’t read the posts where I explained why the multi-billionaire has made certain mistakes in his older years. Mistakes a lot of seniors make. That’s okay. But my uneducated guess is that he’s had a much more lucrative business track record over all the years than you’ve had.Rojo Johnson wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 08:45 amAn additional height of irony is an 81 year old FO butt kisser telling us all how sharp the almost 84 year old Cardinals owner is. I like your summary. I don’t think Mo caught any breaks in the offseason, or we would see a younger team today. The trade deadline should see Bloom’s vision on the 2026 roster. RH, Fedde, Matz, Nado and MM all might be traded by then. These “properly prepared” players may start arriving in 2026, unless they are seeking outside preparation.

1.) Goldy and Arenado took a step backwards.
2.) Walker and Gorman didn’t take a step forward.
3.) The pitchers secured through July trades the season before all became injured.

No spin at all. There’s very good equipment on the market now that breaks down the stance, swing plane, weight shift, shoulder turn etc. For pitchersDazepster wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025 09:15 amSpin. it’s the grip, arm angle, spin rate developed with various pitches, etc. The Cardinals were slow to get this equipment, but purchased it during the off season at the request of Bloom and Cerfolio.
