Not sure what maton was doing. Would have been difficult for him to mame a play but he needs to try and not pull hand back. Ss and 2b had no chance.

Why in the world did the Cards call on Maton to throw that curveball? With 2 strikes , Maton should have thrown it off the plate and make him chase it.
