is Baker so awful against RH pitching that we don't even want to find out if he has anything to offer during this 'reset' season? Can he be worse?sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 11:31 amFive rbis and zero home runs. Few hits. At some point you are at the bottom of the stat rung.

Correct. Still in year one of a reset. Must be kept in mind. I’m not a fan of him hitting second.greyhawk wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 12:06 pmis Baker so awful against RH pitching that we don't even want to find out if he has anything to offer during this 'reset' season? same but 5,6 or 7? if not Baker then Saggese should get the Burleson ab's and Luken is redundant at that point.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 12:08 pmCorrect. Still in year one of a reset. Sure 5,6,7. And yes sagggese needs to hit. Would make a stellar everyday type second baseman with Winn. Daily. Javier. Agree completely but not at the expense of Donovan who so far is having a 1985/Herr type season with a better avg.... again so far.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 12:15 pmSure 5,6,7. Donovan I’d move to left. I’d let Donovan spell Saggese at times. Somebody on my team would not get lots of at bats based on their role as defensive sub or pinch runner.greyhawk wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 12:31 pmit presents a good problem ---sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025 12:22 pmDonovan I’d move to left. Holmes gives up 5 walks per nine. Already a mound visit.

Met's Telecast first comments of the game, paraphrasing: "Nolan Arenado getting an off day. That's surprising. Sure is. Could understand if you hadn't dropped the first 3, but you don't want to get swept, especially in a 4 game series. That can be demoralizing."
As usual, paint-by-numbers Oli thinks he has masterfully outthought every situation and as always, he has no pulse for the here and now. Gawd I f'n HATE this guy.
