Two shots is not going to cut it. The last game at the end of the season they only got 15 shots the whole dame. If you put the puck on the net good things can happen. This game kind of went the way I figured. Now they need to regroup and come back Monday, play hard, old style hockey as the would say and tie to up coming home for game three.
.840 SP it’s not good enough. That said, took the foot off the gas for 30 mins and tried to defend their way to a W. Recipe for disaster we’ve seen that movie before.

The Blues threw so many hits in the first. Almost the most out of any team/game this year.
Gotta wonder if that impacted them.
Credit to the Jets though. Blues best players got outplayed
Schiefele and Connor feasted. Monty has some work to do there
Schief has really improved his game this year. He’s dedicated to everything and knows how to make the opposition emotional
Maybe they can win a round??
That’s the way people talked about pietrangelo, Oshie, Perron and Bo and the Blues until they were 30 and 30 plus. Macinnis didn’t go far in his decade as a Blue. You should mock him

May not be good enough but it was better than Helle's!

Not sure any of them (sans macinnis (relatively)) put up numbers like schief....if they did let me know

Put up numbers? Pietrangelo and Bo were considered all world. Pietrangelo considered one of the best in the game. Oshie was one of the best 2-way forwards in the world.

Some will always defend the Binner no matter what. Bigger issue was we tried to bunker in.

I dont think that we tried to bunker in. It would be more accurate to say that we had to bunker in.
And just imagine if the Jets 2 veteran stars weren’t out.
