I started taking up the Padres in 2023 since the Cardinals were so bad to watch and the Padres were fun and close to home.
Went back to rooting for the Cards in 2024, but man I want to root for the padres so bad this year. I might have to go back

Waino said Cards played tough. Tough for fans to watch, for sure

I watch multiple teams. Life is too short.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025 17:33 pm I started taking up the Padres in 2023 since the Cardinals were so bad to watch and the Padres were fun and close to home.

Well 3 games under now but at least they play the Braves. The question is will the cardinals take advantage of a bad team or will the Braves take advantage of a bad team?

Another really nice start by Libby. Just needs to avoid the rough inning in the 2nd or 3rd. He finished strong into the 7th again.
Other than that, nothing to see here except Senga dominating and frustrating at bats by the Cardinals.

Maybe we can limit the damage to four losses in NY.
Re: GDT: Cards @ Mets (4/19) ~ 3:05pm CDT
From what I’ve seen the best 9 are as follows:
C: Herrera
1B: Contreras
2B: Saggese
SS: Winn
3B: Arenado
LF: Donovan
CF: Scott II
RF: Nootbaar
DH: Walker
Burly and Gorman can take a hike for all I care. Some of the least competitive at bats I’ve ever seen.

Saggese swings at ball four on 3-1. Takes 3-2 pitch down the middle. I’ll cut him some slack as he had a good game and is a rookie.
Gorman swings at 3-2 pitch in the dirt. His 4 AB’s traveled a combined distance of 40 feet. He is not a rookie.
LOL
