Re: Holloway
Hes out. Monty said after the utah game that he only did some light stick work on his own and wasnt even close to joining practice with the team. Id say hes definitely out for round 1 and questionable to return even for round 2.

that really sucksBubble4427 wrote: ↑18 Apr 2025 14:46 pmListened to 101 this week and both JR and Kerber said that he is out for round one…and BOTH stated that, in their opinion, they believe he will probably not return this season.
Re: Holloway
He’s out for at least 5 weeks and probably 6 weeks. Can’t recall the exact date of the injury. This injury doesn’t respond to treatment. But most likely season ending unless they get to round 4 maybe.

Re: Holloway
He's only been out for 5 games, or roughly end of week 2, on what was called week to week. If it was 3-4 months, they would've not even bothered with the gamesmanship.
Let's entertain the idea that the blues make a run to the stanley cup finals for sake of argument here (i'd be really impressed if we make it past round 1, but for sake of argument lets say cup run). If we go simply off of projection of the injury as week to week and that most of the time thats been 5-6 weeks, then a 'standard' 6 week timeframe would put him as returning around May 13th-14th. So at best, we can maybe hope that he might be close to a return by game 4 or so of round 2. If he were recovering ahead of schedule, game 2, if this is on the longer side of week-to-week, round 3 game 1 or 2 would be the most likely return. This is assuming 5 weeks on the shortest turnaround, 6 as the 'normal', and 8 as the longer end of week-to-week.
I don't see a world where he is healthy enough to return this series at the level we'd want him to be at. Just gotta have the next man up, and hope that someone else steps up and takes on his point production and playstyle. I've seen Bolduc becomes a more physical player, maybe he's that guy.

I'm not counting out Snuggs making a possible large impact either or Neighbors. There is always a chance, how ever small it may be.JoshInFenton wrote: ↑18 Apr 2025 20:05 pm He's only been out for 5 games, or roughly end of week 2, on what was called week to week. It could happen though. With either, or even both.Aesa wrote: ↑18 Apr 2025 20:18 pmI'm not counting out Snuggs making a possible large impact either or Neighbors. Neighbours was born for playoff hockey, and Snuggerud has been in some kind of national spotlight for a month.
Snuggerud with Kyrou might be the move that gives us two killer lines again. It’s gotta be strange to defend against a line with two right shot wingers that can snipe at top-notch levels.
Neighbours looked to have some extra jump against Utah and Sunny was showing some startling flashes that game too…
The first game will be crazy interesting.

Re: Holloway
Sounds like he's dealing with something similar to Matthew Tkachuk.
