I agree with the poster about Calgary may win all their remaining games. Here is note worth watching. Edmonton needs to keep winning tonight and against the Kings Monday. That would make the Kings game important to them for home ice advantage. Otherwise, Calgary's game will mean nothing to the Kings on Thursday just like Vegas could care less about their game against the Flames on Tuesday. Not getting one point in Edmonton in the last few seconds on that defensive mistake has made this much more difficult to clinch.

As someone pointed out in the other thread. This is not necessarily the case. If they beat Calgary once while they've been overworking their goalie, they don't have to play them in a 7 game series. They play Minnesota. It's not nothing.

If they lose once in regulation, the best they can do is tie us in points and regulation wins. The next tie-breaker is regulation/overtime wins and they cannot catch us in that one.

Same outcome if we beat Utah in regulation, regardless of what happens with Calgary.

Calgary is going to win the rest of their games.

The Blues can still get in by winning on Tuesday night at home against a team lower than them in the standings. If the team can't muster a winning effort knowing what is at stake, then they don't deserve to get in.

I love declarative statements like the that are based on no factual data. Is it possible Calgary wins their next 3? Sure. But, theyre 3 and 3 in April. It’s not like Calgary is on some effing heater. Again, could they win all 3? Sure. But to just claim it’s a done deal is either your attempt to troll or you’re a huge pessimist who isn’t interested in facts.

Under the radar and not something they probably care about a lot, but finishing with more points than the stars would allow them home ice advantage over the stars if both ended up making conference finals.

I was worry that down the Flames Stretch that Flames would be playing teams that would have nothing to play for and they did.

The Game that I watched on April 9 that will haunt the Calgary Flames was against the Ducks ..
The Flames had a 2 goal lead on them very late in the 3rd period.
The Ducks scored 2 goals to tie the Flames and then the Ducks won it in Overtime .
If Flames hold on and win that game and get 2 points instead of 1 point.
They end up with 97 points to the Blues 96 points and are in the playoffs and the Blues are not.
The Blues blew alot of late game leads but the Flames didn,t but that one against the Ducks cost them a Playoff spot.

There were plenty of games on both sides that could have gone either way. In the end the Blues grasped control of their own destiny and got it done. The right way.
