I predicted a all Canadian cup before the season. And I think thats still a good bet. A Canadian Cup winner, is a better bet. I'd say as close to a guarantee as one could get.
Edmonton could be one. If there's one player on the team that I want on a hot streak. It's the goaltender and Skinner looks to be climbing on one.
Also don't turn your head on Ottawa. If I was to put some money in. It would be on Ottawa. Odds would pay.
ehhh the only Canadian team I see getting out of the first round is Toronto.
Now I do have some blue colored lenses on, but I can absolutely see the Blues upsetting Winnipeg.
Ottawa will put up a good fight but they aren't beating Toronto.
Edmonton has far too many injuries, was just embarrassed by LA and won't have home ice at any point unless the Blues make it to the WCF along with them.
Montreal although a great story doesn't have nearly enough depth to upset Washington.

I don’t necessarily agree with him, but I do see his point. I think the Blues will give them a good series, but I don’t know if it will be the war that Dallas/Colorado and Tampa/Florida will be. But Winnipeg better not take the Blues lightly. The Jets wouldn’t be the first President’s Cup team to lay an egg.
Dallas / Colorado just took a pretty severe turn..
Jason Robertson got hurt last night in a meaningless game against Nashville. At first I thought it was a concussion, but he appeared to be favoring his knee when he went off.
For team that is already short Heiskenan - who may not be back for Round One -, and with Ottinger being rather pedestrian lately, that's no bueno for the Stars. They have been sloppy. Avs got a huge boost in the room with Landeskog's return. No idea how much he'll be able to contribute, but it's still a morale boost.

Seguin did just come off the IL and will play in game one. He isn't the player he used to be obviously but he will make a difference.
With their injuries though they will have to win on D and with Oettinger outplaying Blackwood.
