Those were 3 massive moves for this franchise and all 3 were home runs.

Re: Is Army GM of the Year?
that's the other one. I remember a poster here saying that army visiting the snuggys house for dinner wasn't normal and it was a sign he wasn't signing. saying he didn't do it for dvorsky, why would he do it for snuggy. conveniently not understanding that it is showing love to a guy who is in the org when we were playing the freaking mild.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:15 amit's a shame Snuggerud will never sign here and instead go to Minnybritishblue wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:11 am He is going to be up there.

meanwhile snuggy signs a 3 year contract and is in the playoffs with the blues.
Re: Is Army GM of the Year?
Yes.
He could have easily thrown in the towel and banked more draft picks, but he once again turned a dysfunctional team into a league powerhouse with shrewd preseason and midseason moves. He groomed his top prospects with patience and challenge for ice time when other GMs might have rushed them. He again made an inseason coaching change, turning on a dime to get the man who would make a difference. And then there are those offer sheets . . .
All of this while also leading the Managemenr team of the 4Nations Tournament winner, a HUGE international showcase for the NHL.
It should be unanimous.

Don't forget Suter. Played 82 games, averaged 19:30, was a +7. Brought steady leadership and professionalism. Not as huge as the three points you made above, but an under-the-radar great signing.britishblue wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:11 am He is going to be up there.
