Idiotic to slot WillyC back in the #2 hole (again today) after he did well down in the order, typical moron Oli.
And what's this continued love affair w/Bumbles?
Get over it Oli.

If I were Bloom I'd want to see as much of Gorman as I could so I know what I have going forward. But with this goofy two boss arrangement he may not have much of a voice in this year's team. Burleson is a known quantity with a low ceiling. Maybe a bench bat for a contender or DH for the Rockies or White Sox.Wattage wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:30 amWhats really weird is he played gorman coupke games agi vs a lefty keeping saggese on the bench but now benches gorman for sahgese vs the righty. Quite frankly, both should get bats over burly. Its time to move on from him.Mort Gage wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:26 amI thought Mo's plan was to get Gorman 600 PAs this year. Maybe he needs to have a talk with Oli. Oli must get a charge out of seeing Burleson slap the occasional single.Ronnie Dobbs wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:13 am Contreras back in the 2 hole and Burleson (86 OPS+) for Gorman (189 OPS+) again and batting 5th.

The hand that holds the bottle says drink it till it’s gone. But now that it’s half empty I’m not sure I can go on.

Makes NO sense!Ronnie Dobbs wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:13 am Contreras back in the 2 hole and Burleson (86 OPS+) for Gorman (189 OPS+) again and batting 5th.
Yeah, idk what the deal is but I would even rather see Baker than Burleson no matter who's pitching.
Expecting Mozeliak to move an Oli pet is expecting too much.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 11:11 amWhy wait? I'd be shopping him now!

Oli wants to win now to save his job, if that's even possible. I think Mo is caught between wanting to position the team for the future and going out on a high note. Bloom is concerned with '26 and beyond. Conflicting objectives.rockondlouie wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 11:21 amBINGO MGMort Gage wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:59 amIf I were Bloom I'd want to see as much of Gorman as I could so I know what I have going forward. At least (per Bernie) Bloom stepped up and inserted LIbby into the starting rotation at the end of camp when it appeared Mo/Oli were happy to leave him in the pen'.
Oli has little to no chance of keeping his job unless the Cardinals surprise and win the NLC. Even then Bloom (hopefully) will want his own guy, only BDWJr could then keep Oli (under contract for 26').Mort Gage wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 11:26 amOli wants to win now to save his job, if that's even possible. Wait, you said Libby would never make it as a starter. Now because you think Bloom made the move it's the best thing ever?rockondlouie wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 11:21 amBINGO MGMort Gage wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:59 amIf I were Bloom I'd want to see as much of Gorman as I could so I know what I have going forward.
