Is Schenn The Best Blues Captain of All Time?

Post by callitwhatyouwant »

Schenn literally started the night off in the most important game of the season. He carried this squad to the playoffs. He told management he wanted to stick in STL. He is a Blue thru and thru. Gloria doesn't exist without Schenner. He might have been the catalyst for the 2019 cup. And now he is running a line with Snuggy? He made kryou and Hollywood all timers. Is Schenner literally the best Captain in Blues history?

technically Gretzky was captain for a brief time, and Scott Stevens was captain for a hell of a year

but you really gotta go with Hull or Pronger as the best IMO assuming you mean captain for more than a year. I'm sure some are partial to Al Mac

no offense to Schenn intended

Love Schenn. The moment burned in my memory is Schenn's back up against the boards as the rest of the team is celebrating winning Game 7 in SCF.

He bleeds it. All of it. He has Snuggerud staying at his house right now. He's a leader and gamer through and through.

No!!! Because Army wanted to trdae him. Don't you get it? This is all fool's gold. Army WANTED to trade Schenn. Brayden probably wanted to blow something up on his way out if Army had secured the trade. See? Army WANTED to trade him. None of this matters. The team is a big mirage. You think they won tonight, but they really didn't, because Army WANTED to trade him.

Enjoy your offseason! These playoffs aren't real.

You need to find a new hobby or something else to do with your time. Because this isn’t working for you.

That was a parody response. There's a notorious troll here who insisted nothing the Blues did mattered because Army wanted to trade Schenn. He's nuts. haha

Uhhh no.

He's not impactful. He's a great 3rd liner though.

I recall a cup winning captain a few years ago. If Schenn can do that then I will say yes.

You left off Brewer and Drake, the two best all-time.

All joking aside, Pronger. MacInnis and Hull were the best (not counting Gretzky as he wasn’t here long enough). I would probably give MacInnis at the top.

I have no idea who the best captain is/was but being better players does not mean better Captains.
