Not trying to be smart but, if we are unable to beat competition that’s deemed lower than us then how are We gonna fair against playoff contenders.

They need to tighten up defensively regardless of opposing goaltender

I agree but it just seems like nothing has gone our way when it came to the other games going on across the NHL. And then things like McDavid returning happens to the Blues and now this.

This shouldnt be a surlrise. Vej started a ton of a ganes in a row. Why wouldnt they gove him the extra day of rest in the back to back.

Not everything goes against us. Its not like the flames have been on an insane winning streak in their last 10 games. We just started behind and had to make up ground cuz we dug ourselves in hole then cooled off. You ca t expect flames to go 0-10 when they are fighting for their loves vs a team they thought was out of the race but we stormed back on them

Mcdavid returning sucked- but we still should have beaten that edmonton team with all the players that were out. We failed to capitalize these last 2 games.

Not for nothing…but it will be Utah’s 3rd game in (4) nights…not to mention it’s a back-to-back for them. If you can’t win a game against an opponent who will be tired…on your home ice…what kind of other break are you looking for in a must win game? 😳

Perfect summary, if you can't win this game on home ice then enjoy your vacation, cause you earned. Cut the excuses folks, let's [censored] take care of business

Yes and Seattle played a goalie that had a terrible season. If this goalie is the difference in the team making the playoffs or not then they weren’t ready to be in the playoffs.

What a loser mentality OP. Who cares!?

Win the game at home in regulation and you're in. That's it.

So we want Edmonton to beat LA tonight so that LA has something to play for (home ice) in their final game against the Flames?

Count this as a blessing. Blues would get shut out by a kid making his 2nd NHL start.

This is not a valid gripe imo. If Calgary gets to face second best this and that closing out I'll listen. But there should be no problem or issues facing any teams best.

I put myself into the category of no one wanting a Blues win more than myself. Anxiety, hopes, dreams....you name it. I at least equal in desire with most all of you wanting a play off for this team.

Having said that....(Remember the Curb Your Enthusiasm "having said that episode".......) if the Blues should lose their play off spot....injuries and all.....there's only one place they can look for the reason why.

I say to them....here it is boys....your third chance to knock them out....now you go get it or look in the mirror for the next 12 months on why you were not good enough.

I fully agree with this, I am more focused on the breakdown in the team’s structure than who they play. If you can’t beat Seattle and Utah, Winnipeg is going to destroy you.

Tied 1-1. Vrana made a stellar get-out-of-the-way play in his own zone giving the Club guy an open look.
