Re: Faulk
Hahaha! What's hilarious is, I don't think most people even realize the Kraken's first goal was a Faulker.
It's a 3 on 3 rush and Faulk takes this bizarre full wind-up slap shot at the bottom of the circle. Well, the shot looked marked for the far corner, but Grub blockers it right to his own guys. As the rush has turned the other way Faulk is sulking in Kraken's corner with a wide turn, and as soon as he realizes, oh (bleep), I'm a defensemen in my opposition's corner and my shot has just led to a rush the other way, he tries to get back into the play, but it's far too late.
I seriously think he's cursed. lol

Flames Wolf had 3 games below .875 and Vlader had 1.
There goalies are a bigger reason they are in the playoff picture than the Blues goalies.

2020 - Bubble hockey, the Captain of the team claims he didn't pick up a stick during Covid. My opinion 2020 should have an *.
2021 - Covid shenanigans in Denver with Binny and others getting false positives and missing warmups, CP55 with a bad back, Faulk gets destroyed by Kadri in Game 2.
2022 - Binner goes on a heater and gets taken out by Kadri in Game 3 of Round 2
2023 - Golf
2024 - Golf
2025 - ?
You're entitled to your opinion but, I see it differently.
Re: Faulk
So you’re saying Binner slid hard right as if to block a shot he anticipates will come even though he already knew the Schwartz’ shot/pass from the right had been blocked. I guess your theory is he’s intentionally throwing the game by leaving open nets everywhere. That’s utterly absurd.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 08:26 amLeddy had already made the play. This game had nothing to do with the lack of any goal tending imo. If the team played as well as JB it was an easy win.

Re: Faulk
What's amazing is that this is even a debate. EVERYone knows Binnington is a completely different player when he has ample rest. The guy played one of the most difficult tournaments of his life while the rest of the team was catching rays. They're exposing him despite the fact we all know the guy needs rest. Playing him last night was dumb. And now that it's the last game of the season, logic will dictate "Gotta have your big game guy in there."swatski wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 10:34 amSo you’re saying Binner slid hard right as if to block a shot he anticipates will come even though he already knew the Schwartz’ shot/pass from the right had been blocked. Common sense is so lacking at times in this world.
Re: Faulk
Absolutely not. Not intentionally. He simply over anticipated. Point is stop the puck and lock in. Not the time to be playing to a .829swatski wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 10:34 amSo you’re saying Binner slid hard right as if to block a shot he anticipates will come even though he already knew the Schwartz’ shot/pass from the right had been blocked. Re: Faulk
The one series he won, Husso blew up midway through the series. Binner lost the starting job going into that year’s playoffs. Some issues aren’t in his control no question - he’s not the clutch goaltender everyone makes him out to be he’s overall statistically average outside of the Cup run.TAFKAP wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 09:58 am2020 - Bubble hockey, the Captain of the team claims he didn't pick up a stick during Covid. You aren't wrong there. I just think that 2 of those 3 years were not normal years, and the third was incomplete because of Kadri.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 14:14 pmThe one series he won, Husso blew up midway through the series. First, they're on the road and had to travel. Next, they're in a different time zone from home so there's going to be some jet lag. Next, he's played non-stop hockey for the last 8 months (don't forget the extremely intense 4-nations tourney), and he had maybe, MAYBE, 24 hours of total down time to himself. Do you think that's enough to fully recuperate mentally and physically. I'm afraid you're mistaken.

Happens every day. Last night was important but not nearly as much as Tuesday. I would hvae gone to Hofer without a second thought for last night and told Binny to clear his head, rest up and either be ready for Tuesday if we need to clinch or Game 1 if we have clinched.netboy65 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 20:54 pmDo you really want to lose an important game playing your backup goalie?blackinkbiz wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 20:52 pmUmmmm.... lolnetboy65 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 16:55 pmThey hadn’t played since Wednesday so rest wasn’t an issue and given the circumstances you ride your number 1blackinkbiz wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 09:58 amThey're playing him way too much.
