Re: Faulk
Puck watching while a defender skates right behind him for the rebound. It’s tough to judge the puck on that play and I would give him the benefit of the doubt had he at least turned to look or position himself properly but dude was in la la
Land.
Land.

Re: Faulk
Faulk darn near tried to give up the game twice in OT. Every decision he makes now is the wrong one. Heck, go back to the Vancouver game and that idiotic dump into the Canuck bench cost them a regulation win, which would be huge now. I don’t know if he is hurt or overthinking or what the issue is, but lots of mental mistakes are being made.
Re: Faulk
How about we talk about how bad Binner was last night? Why is he kicking a harmless wrister directly to the charging forward on the 2nd goal and why is he on his belly and flailing on the 3rd. 3goals on 15 shots nuff said
Re: Faulk
It's called a rebound on a player charging in 1 foot in front of him.
This game had nothing to do with the lack of any goal tending imo. If the team played as well as JB it was an easy win.

Re: Faulk
Faulk was awful last night. Again. And again and again.
Other than CP55, who looked mostly like his old self for the most part who on the team shined? I feel like Snuggs was the most noticeable player on the ice. THat's not really a good thing. Anyone else stick out? Not to me.
And yeah, Binner was a clown last night. No getting around it.
Re: Faulk
Even the first goal he overplayed the 2 on 1 left Schwartz an open net. It was a 40 ft wrister he was trying to kick it out to the D and got burned. Does anybody actually know what they’re looking at when they watch?dhsux wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 07:55 amIt's called a rebound on a player charging in 1 foot in front of him.

Re: Faulk
Bonner was going to his right to block the potential shot coming from that direction on the pass from Schwartz. However the pass got blocked by a defender and went straight back to Schwartz. If the pass had not been blocked Binner would have been in great position to block it.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 08:10 amEven the first goal he overplayed the 2 on 1 left Schwartz an open net. Re: Faulk
Leddy had already made the play. Binner went to the far post after the fact. He overplayed it. 1 playoff series win since the Cup run 6 years ago. Yet he’s praised as this clutch goaltender. Re: Faulk
Whether any of the goals could have been saved or not the Blues aren't getting the same goaltending the Flames are. Wolf and even the backup are playing like Binner did in 2019. and the team is feeding off it.
Re: Faulk
Until maybe the oilers game, the blues absolutely were getting great goaltending since the 4 nations tournament.Bluesfan1978 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 08:26 am Whether any of the goals could have been saved or not the Blues aren't getting the same goaltending the Flames are. Re: Faulk
The Blues goalies had some not so good games mixed in there. They still won most of the games though so it wasn't as big a deal.
How many games have the Blues goalies stole since the 4 nations?
I don't have the answer but its very few.
Vancouver and Calgary's goalies have been keeping them in games and stealing games since the 4 nations.
The Flames are getting Binnington 2019 goaltending. Without they wouldn't even be in the playoff conversation. Theres also a good chance Wolf wins the Calder trophy.
