Blues are trying to score cute goals. Teams are playing playoff style hockey now. Cute doesn’t work. Should be shooting every chance they get and looking for rebounds. Also, Blues are losing every board battle and have been the last several games.

Yes this team resembles the mediocre team they have been most of the season vs the fast flying 12 game win streak Blues. Although the last couple of games in that streak started the reversion back to mediocrity.

There are a handful of players that seem to be playing hard and fast and making good decisions, the rest appear mired in mud. They simply cannot afford to play like that in the 2nd period with the long change.
