Oh my, that is a bit jarring.
Hopefully a fixable problem and he can get back to work in time for next game.

This certainly hurts today a bit, but maybe all players will really put in the effort. Parayko not being inserted tells me he really is not ready yet.

What would the Blues be without drama!

His GF is pregnant, I'd imagine it's related and not "drama"

The drama comment is in regards to the Blues team situation where it comes down to two final games, injury questions, another key player out, on heels of 12 game win streak, etc., etc.

My first comment was about the situation being jarring, and hoping it’s a fixable problem, since I had no idea what the personal problem is.

That sucks.

So; insert Kessel or go 13-5?
I would assume we just insert Kessel and shuffle the pairs.

I'm going to assume Kessel for now. I'm not ruling out a Parayko sighting even if the plan was originally just the finale.

Oh, the irony. So now the Blues must clinch a playoff WITHOUT the Offer Sheet boys.

With this development, If Parayko isn't in the lineup......even if it is one of 7 D....it tells me to not expect him to be a regular contributor any time soon.

Why do you say that?

I mean if Monday he's ready and tonight he's not......This should not change that.

Well, this is kind of a must win. Not mathematically, but close to it. And if he can't even give it a go, at all even with 6 other D, I can't see how a couple more days is going to make enough of a difference for him to go from 0 to a major contributor.

How is he ready Monday or Tues but not Saturday? He may have all summer to heal up if the Blues lose this one tonight

If the Blues don't at least get a point tonight they no longer control their own destiny. Calgary can win out 3 games (6 points) and the Blues can't catch them no matter what they do against Utah. I'd say this is a big game tonight. Win and put Calgary's back up against the wall. Blues also lose a tie breaker to Minnesota.

Blues have to get at least one point in these two games to make the playoffs if Minnesota loses out. Otherwise, it's all about Calgary right now, the Blues either need to win or start saying prayers.

Yup, Blues lose in regulation tonight and even if Minny loses tonight they still controls their own destiny against the Blues. As would Calgary. Let's get those 2 points in Seattle tonight!
