At least I can stomach losing to the Phils who are a top NL team.
The Angels suck.
So do the Pirates.
And the Red Sox are mediocre.

I'd consider the Bosox better than mediocre, altho' their current record is 7-8
(if they were in the NLC, they'd finish ahead of the Cards. probably win the division)

I would have rather had Gorman pinch hit for Baker than Saggese. Saggese isn’t exactly slumping vs RHP this year with his 1 HR coming off them and an OPS over 1.100.

But......so far this year they are 4-8 when NOT playing is.
That is worse than mediocre.
I still can’t believe we lost that extra inning game to the Pirates?
