Hey if somehow Dvorsky (not sure he plays tomorrow night or not) and Snuggerud (same) start to light it up ala Holloway then yes Id say the Blues are on their way to a magical run. The odds of this happening unfortunately are less than slim.

I agree with the consensus that we can’t count on the kids.

Placement of Snuggerud and Bolduc and Kyrou is still up in the air .
When they had their run, the four lines were blessed with good health and that continuity gave those forwards far less variables to worry about.

The fourth line needs to find its scoring touch again as I believe Kimzey said.

The third line will be , almost, what it was, as Bolduc needs to move up to help fill the Holloway abyss. Sunny, Joseph and Texier did it before and they can do it again. I hope Texier finds an extra set of french balls, somewhere. He needs to look hungry and play meaner.
Bolduc is the only Rookie we could hope to really explode the rest of the season, however long that is. He has paid serious dues and is a grade A student.

Who to play with Thomas???
Who to play with Schenn????

If Buch, Kyrou, Bolduc, and Snuggy are used correctly and are up to the task, the first round will be entertaining.

I hope Dvo plays the next game and gets some ice time. Nothing against Joseph, I like his speed and will to get the puck. But Dvo has more of a chance of scoring. We need goals. The 4th line gets too muck ice IMO. They are overexposed playing so much, but like how they can change the momentum when their ice is more limited. Bolduc fan here too. Get him more ice.

That is an explanation for the WTF slowing down. Energy lines don't usually get the consistent minutes those boys do.

The Third line has been Sunny's Uncle, a most admirable Rookie, and a capable and speedy winger with a big heart. They need to play even at even strength for another 5 minutes a night.

It s lot to ask of Dvo. Joseph's foolish pass at their blueline that cost the first goal is a reason to look at Dvo again, but how many minutes can you trust him for?

Is Monty scheduling practices here and there?
A lot of them are pretty beat up, I am sure.

Montgomery was on 101 about an hour ago and was pumped.

He said they practiced like a playoff team and that Colton Parayko is doubtful for tomorrow night.

We need the whole team and it's players coming through of course but that 4th line is critical to actually winning the game, imo.

Both ends of the ice.
