"12. St. Louis Blues, 43-30-7
Hopefully Holloway is ready for the playoffs. Otherwise …
Why they’ll win: They may well start the postseason after playing to a 130-point pace for two full months. Why should we assume that’ll immediately change? Also, Robert Thomas has led the league in points since the 4 Nations break.
Why they won’t: Dylan Holloway has become a huge part of St. Louis’ core, and the early signs of his injury being a long one aren’t ideal. That genuinely might be enough to sour St. Louis’ chances of going deep. A lot depends on which bracket the Blues draw into, but as nice as their run since the 4 Nations break has been, they’ll be an underdog to either Winnipeg or Vegas. They’re legit, but that’s a tough place to start without one of your better forwards."

Spittin' truth. This team needs a healthy Holloway to get anywhere.Pink Freud wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025 19:22 pm "12. St. Louis Blues, 43-30-7

Re: The Athletic Assesses Blues' Playoff Chances
We are a one line team without Holloway. One line teams usually don't make the playoffs much less advance.
Re: The Athletic Assesses Blues' Playoff Chances
Holloway made Kyrou better. Kyrou needs to come through with Thomas or Schenn/Neighbors
Re: The Athletic Assesses Blues' Playoff Chances
It's all about The Binnington.
Even when our offense is looking around more then moving forward, with the puck. Binnington keeps them in the game.
So, as long as he can make the right saves at the right time. It won't matter.
I think team chemistry plays big at this time of year and that many games are won in the locker room. When things are fun, games can be won.
We wouldn't be here without Binny and we go as far as he takes us. Depending on who we play___of course

Without Holloway, definitely a 1 line team.
Plus Binnington has been up and Down this year.
Jamie Rivers said on101 FM yesterday that Binnington didn,t play well against the Oilers and Binnington was walking around in the Locker room yesterday in a Bad mood.after that Oiler game.
Question that I have.
Will Monty start Binny in the Last 2 games, knowing that Binny has won Very Big games for the Blues in the past.
My guess.
Definitely Yes
