This is my 70th season as a Cardinals fan; I'll be 75 end of the month. The only thing I hate more than an off-day is the off-season.

Over the years I've seen high-highs and low-lows. I've also been treated to 9 WS's and we won 4 of 'em. Many times, especially during down years, I felt like giving up on a lost season but never could. Can't not watch, won't stop caring, it's in my DNA and like 2011 taught us, you never know.

The personal attacks in CT are pointless. Three suggestions.

- If you don't like a post, respond, ignore but stop the condescending and smarmy personal assaults.
- If you don't like a poster, respond, ignore or don't read but spare us the petty attacks and piling on.
- If you don't like me, respond, ignore, or don't read.

Most posters have insightful takes or pose interesting questions. I like learning from different perspectives.

A recent post was titled something like 'It's hard to be a Cardinals fan in recent years''. True enough. The steady decline over the past decade from FO arrogance, unforced errors, mismanagement and indifference is hard to endure. But thoughtful fans know how lucky we are as Cardinals fans. I live in Oregon but was born and raised in the StL. I'll always be proud of that, even in years when watching the Cards feels like punishment.

2. You were kicked off The Cardinal Nation for the very behavior so many of us detest and have asked you to stop.
3. You tried to bring your Wally sock to TCN, but he got booted.
4. You started a new TCN sock, Sanusual6, a couple months back which was quickly booted.
5. You had racist socks like Wally Butterworth & Robert Shelton.
6. You have permanently left and returned to this forum several times.
7. You have admitted you understand you shouldn't start the same thread daily, yet you still do it.
8. You and your socks often have conversations with each other. It's embarrassing.
