Why did switch up the top 4 now? Is Parayako not coming back for the playoffs now? For the last few months Broberg and Faulk have played together. Why break up the pairings now?

Faulk has been struggling lately. He can not handle top pairing responsibilities. Maybe Monty thought Fowler/Leddys experience would help cover him. Brobergs good and capable of making plays but he is the most inexperienced of the top 4. Might be too much for him to cover Faulks blunders.

I think the EDM game was an experimentation game. Monty was testing different combos out to see what could potentially work against a good team in the playoffs.

He needs to know if someone goes down due to injury that this other pairing would potentially work etc. I don't think it was necessarily a bad move.

It's a weird deal because he's been out so long and then to come back in for such a big game.

Kerber said yesterday he expects Parayko to be in at least one of the last two games for sure. He said no one has told him it would be tomorrow or not, but he wouldn’t be surprised if he plays tomorrow.
